Westcave is a natural treasure of the Texas Hill Country, rich with majestic beauty and ecological diversity. Located 40 miles west of Austin, this 76 acre gem has been preserved and offered to the public since 1976. Westcave Preserve is part of Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center is a 501(c)-3 non-profit organization. The mission of Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center is to inspire people to develop a lifelong practice of enjoying and protecting nature. Westcave accomplishes this through educational programs, collaborative alliances, and the conservation of our beautiful 76-acre preserve.
