The LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour is returning to the Hill Country! This iconic event celebrates the life and legacy of Lyndon B. Johnson, the 36th President of the United States. The ride supports the LBJ National Historical Park, including the Texas White House, LBJ Ranch, and historic properties in Johnson City. Lady Bird and Luci Johnson were the originators of the idea that people should enjoy the natural setting of the LBJ Ranch and the wildflower-lined roads in the springtime. This ride is truly “A Ride to Preserve History.”
Join us on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at the LBJ Ranch in Stonewall, TX. Riders can choose from 16, 30, 42, and 62 mile rides. The ride tours through the communities of Cave Creek, Willow City, Sandy, Nebgen, Rhinegold and Stonewall. Riders will have rest stops at three Gillespie County Country Schools -- Cave Creek, Willow City and Nebgen School. At each, riders can take a break and learn the history of the schools from local volunteers.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of LBJ National Historical Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our work supports educational activities, preservation projects, and restoration of historic structures.
Bike enthusiasts can register to ride at
