1. DRIPPING SPRINGS RANCH PARK


Stop by the Dripping Springs Ranch Park on just about any weekend and you will find the 166,000 square foot facility alive with entertainment. From home & garden shows, to rodeos, and livestock shows, the Dripping Springs Ranch Park is a bustling event center that hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Beyond the event center, visitors will find an outdoor playground, miles of hiking and biking trails as well as equestrian trails. The beautiful 110-acre Park is nestled amidst rolling landscape, seasonal creeks and ponds with wide open spaces for numerous leisure activities and outdoor recreational opportunities. Make sure to check out the bird blind overlooking the pond to view migrating and resident bird species!

2. ROLLING IN THYME AND DOUGH


A favorite among locals and visitors, Rolling in Thyme & Dough specializes in sandwiches, pastries, cakes and coffee. They also host a weekly BYOB bistro night which is best enjoyed in the gorgeous patio and garden area. It's a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry with your furry friends beneath the shade of the trees in their beautiful patio and garden. Known for using fresh, local ingredients, this restaurant prides itself on serving fresh food, not fast.

3. BELL SPRINGS WINERY


This winery is not your typical nose in the air type of venue. Rather, it’s a place where you spend all afternoon relaxing on the beautiful grounds enjoying an exceptional glass of wine. Well behaved pets on a leash are welcome at Bell Springs Winery. Located right off of Bell Springs Road, this Hill Country haven offer tasting for $10 where you can sample 5-7 wines. They also offer a full food menu on the weekend where you can try delicious eats like flash fried brussels sprouts which are out of this world or a more traditional brunch option like waffles and friend chicken. On the weekdays, they serve up various meats and cheeses, and charcuterie plates and various other small bites. Sit back, listen to some live music and stay a while at the serene Hill Country winery that is Bell Springs Winery.

4. TREATY OAK DISTILLING

Tucked away in the Hill Country, located on twenty-eight acres is Treaty Oak Ranch which is home to the distillery, the gift shop and the recently opened Ghost Hill restaurant. Named after the massive and majestic 500-year-old oak that symbolizes strength and longevity, the ranch is a family and dog friendly destination. Treaty Oak Distillery selects the best ingredients for their selection of beers, and spirits that include bourbon, rum, and gin. Open Thursday through Sunday, there’s a little something for everyone - a gift shop, tasting room, artisan cocktails on tap, yard games, a kids play area, and live music every weekend.

5. BARBER SHOP BAR


The Barber Shop Brewpub was the first bar on the once sleepy Mercer Street and forever changed downtown Dripping Springs when they opened their doors in 2011. Now, the bustling historic district is home to many fine establishments with The Barber Shop serving as the anchor. This is a true locals brewpub but don’t be mistaken. The atmosphere is one that is always welcoming and inclusive to whomever walks through the doors.

On tap, they serve up lots of local beer and it’s always cold. You can even try some of the owner’s beer that they have on tap. The Barbershop not only serves up beer, they also have wine, and drinks for the under 21 crowd. The Barber Shop is a family friendly and dog friendly establishment.

Beerburg Brewing

6. Beerburg Brewing is a new brewery that also takes their food and menu items just as seriously as they take their beer. Everything is made from scratch. Everything is farm to table. All the food at Beerburg is an inclusive menu that appeals to a variety of diets like gluten-free, vegan, or keto. On their taps, you’ll find beers that are brewed with a focus on hyper-local ingredients and made with Texas malts. Beerburg has a huge dog-friendly beer garden for you and your pup to hang out in. Since they do make food in-house, dogs are not allowed in the taproom, but the brewery does have their very own fenced-in dog park on the grounds.
