The Dripping Springs Art League Art Lounge at the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival is a vibrant showcase of creativity, featuring a diverse array of artwork from local artists. As you stroll through the gallery, you’ll find the perfect piece to take home, while supporting local artisans. Here are all the exciting things to check out when visiting the Art Lounge
- DSAL Store: DSAL will operate a gigantic tent offering our members’ music and Dripping Springs related art to the public. All media including original and print paintings, jewelry, sculptures, fiber art, ceramics, metal and glass, photography and more are welcome. Seventy percent of all proceeds go to the artist. Start earmarking your current music- and Dripping-related art now. PLUS, you have plenty of time to create more theme-related art throughout the summer! You may submit your art for the store using the button below.
- Interactive Art: DSAL will offer an interactive art project at/near the DSAL Store for the community to contribute to throughout the weekend.
- Live Art: artists interested in painting songwriters LIVE during their performance will be provided prime spots. Their art will be featured on the Sunday Wrap Party stage and available for purchase during the event.
- Summer Art: By the end of July, artists may choose photos of those songwriters selected to perform in October in order to create art representing that songwriter during the summer. This art will be featured in the DSAL Store and be available for sale throughout the weekend.
- Art Mural: DSAL is working with Destination and the City of Dripping Springs to display large songwriter-related mural(s) in downtown Dripping before and during the Songwriters Festival. DSAL muralists are invited to participate.
